Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. About these terms
This website, pathlabassist.com, is operated by PathLab Assist Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 44 692 745 654), trading as PathLab Assist Health (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Pre-launch status; no service agreement
The PathLab Assist platform is in a pre-launch pilot phase. Submitting a discovery-call or waitlist enquiry is an expression of interest only: it does not create an agreement for the supply of software services, does not guarantee access to the platform or the pilot programme, and no fees are payable in connection with it. Any supply of the platform to a customer organisation occurs under a separate written agreement.
3. Information only, no professional advice
The content of this website is provided for general information about our product and company. It does not constitute medical, clinical, laboratory, legal, or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment or established laboratory protocols. The PathLab Assist platform is an administrative and operations system for specimen collection workflows; it is not a medical device (it is excluded from Therapeutic Goods (Excluded Goods) Determination categories 14G and 14J), it does not diagnose or interpret results, and it does not replace a laboratory information system.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, images, page designs, and logos, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by law. You may view the website and retain copies of pages for your personal or internal business evaluation of our product. Any other reproduction, distribution, or use requires our prior written permission. “PathLab Assist” and the PathLab Assist Health marks may not be used without our consent.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse this website, including by interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorised access, scraping content at scale, or submitting false, misleading, or malicious information through our forms.
6. Third-party services and links
This website may reference or link to third-party websites, standards, and publications. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, and a reference does not imply endorsement by the third party of our product.
7. Australian Consumer Law and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (including the Australian Consumer Law) or any other legislation which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the paragraph above: this website is provided on an “as is” basis; we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free; and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or in connection with your use of this website is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant information or services or paying the cost of having them resupplied, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Changes
We may update this website and these terms from time to time. The current terms, with their last-updated date, will always be published on this page. Your continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the remainder of the terms continue in effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
